KYTE POWERTECH BRAND LAUNCH
November 2nd 2020 marked a monumental day in the life of one of the world’s top transformer manufacturers with the exciting news that Kyte Powertech Ireland has been rebranded as Kyte Powertech.
It follows the acquisition in June 2020 of the Cavan-based business by MML Capital Growth Partners Ireland, alongside local management, pictured above. Having already endowed the plant with over €4.5 million in new cutting technology, robotic welding and state of the art winding machines this year, Kyte Powertech has ambitious plans for further growth.
The rebrand, Kyte Powertech management says, represents a significant step as the business prepares itself for the future of electrical transformer production. The buyout also helped secure the future of 420 jobs.
The name Kyte Powertech is inspired by Benjamin Franklin’s discovery of the link between electricity and lightning and serves as a reminder for the company to keep innovating and pushing technology forward.
