Applications are now open for the Kyte Powertech Scholarship 2026, which supports Leaving Certificate students from County Cavan who plan to study science, engineering, or business at third level.

The Kyte Powertech Scholarship in Science, Engineering & Business is designed to support local students as they take the next step in their educational journey. Open to students living in or attending school in County Cavan, the scholarship provides financial support, mentorship and the opportunity to gain paid summer work experience at Kyte Powertech’s manufacturing facility in Cavan.

What the Kyte Powertech Scholarship Offers

The Kyte Powertech Scholarship 2026 offers more than financial assistance.

Successful applicants will receive financial support towards their studies, along with access to mentorship from senior Kyte Powertech leaders. Scholars will also have the opportunity to complete paid summer work placements at Kyte Powertech, gaining practical experience in a real engineering, manufacturing and business environment.

This combination of financial support, mentoring and workplace experience is designed to help students build confidence, develop their skills and better understand the career paths available to them.

Who Can Apply for the Kyte Powertech Scholarship 2026?

The Kyte Powertech Scholarship 2026 is open to Leaving Certificate students who are living in or attending school in County Cavan.

Applicants must be planning to pursue a relevant third-level course in one of the following areas:

Science
Engineering
Business

Courses must be at a university or institute of technology in Ireland or Northern Ireland.
