Single Phase Transformers

Kyte Powertech produces many thousands of single phase pole and platform mount transformers every year. Single phase distribution transformers are used mainly where suburban and rural electricity is distributed by single-phase overhead lines directly to consumers. The most basic tank design used is the cylindrical tank configuration with medium-voltage outdoor shedded bushings on the tank cover and low-voltage bushings also on the tank cover or alternatively on the tank side. In case of installation in areas with high isoceraunic levels, Kyte Powertech offers a steepwave design with improved impulse withstand.
